Vision and Mission Statement Development
The culture and climate work at John Early Museum Middle continued on November 2, 2016 (Scroll down if you want to read their journey in chronological order.) Dr. Margie Johnson used the collaborative inquiry process with grade level teams to develop draft vision and mission statements. These statements will be used by the leadership team to revise, edit, and finalize the vision and mission statements. Check out their awesome work in the below pictures.

The draft vision and mission statements will be used at a leadership team meeting where the statements will be revised, edited, and finalized.

John Early Museum Magnet Middle Prep used the collaborative inquiry process to review culture and climate data, generate multiple theories of causation, and chart next steps.

Faculty Meeting--October 10, 2016
One of the next steps identified in the administration meeting was to share the data with the entire faculty to get their voice in the process. The below PowerPoint, meeting pictures, and meeting feedback are from that meeting.

A few theories of causation were generated. Due to time, the decision was made to list these theories and put them in a centralized location where others could comment and add to the theories.
Once that is finished, then a structure for reaching consensus will be used to decide on which theory of causation to address first. Great work, John Early! |
