DuPont Tyler Middle
Vision and Mission Statement Development

Picture
Picture
The development of vision and mission statements at DuPont Tyler Middle Prep occurred on May 15 & 26, 2017.  Dr. Margie Johnson used the collaborative inquiry process with grade level teams, which also included students and support staff, to develop draft vision and mission statements.  These statements will be used by the leadership team to revise, edit, and finalize the vision and mission statements.  Check out their awesome work in the below pictures.

With consensus reached about the vision and mission statements, the final step was to use the below vision and mission checklist to ensure the statements met the best practice criteria for vision and mission statements.

After a short discussion, the leadership team decided to revise the final statements.
