Activating and Engaging--Student Behavioral Expectations
The discussion began with an activity called, Generate, Sort, Synthesize (Lipton & Wellman, 2011). They were asked to write generate 3-5 student behavioral expectations and put each idea on a card. The cards were then sorted and synthesized into a category.
Exploring and Discovering
MNPS Data Warehouse Behavior Dashboard Data for Past 3 years
The data used to inform the recommendations were the 2014-2015, 2015-2016, and 2016-2017 MNPS Data Warehouse Behavior Dashboards. Teachers spent time making observations of the data, particularly looking for patterns and trends over the past three years.
If your school is interested in accessing these reports for your school, please log into the MNPS Data Warehouse while on the MNPS network. The reports are located in the Dashboard folder.
