Haynes Middle Leadership Team
Culture and Climate Discussion
Haynes Middle Magnet Design Center's leadership team used the collaborative inquiry process to review culture and climate data, identify theories of causation, and chart next steps, which included leadership team members using the collaborative inquiry process to allow staff members to make observations of the data to get their feedback prior to identifying theories of causation.
Activating and Engaging
The activating and engaging component of the meeting was Looking Back...Looking Ahead (Lipton & Wellman, 2011) activity about the culture of Haynes Middle. It was a great springboard for our conversation.

Organizing and Integrating
Theories of causation (Lipton & Wellman, 2012) were introduced. However, the team decided to plan to present that data to the entire staff for more observations and input before establishing a theory of causation to focus on for the year.
